Books Are Lame! - Why You Should Use A Learn Guitar Video

Learn guitar video is quickly over taking the popularity of books when it comes to learning the guitar. There are several reasons for this which I will try to explain in this article.

Books are a good way of learning to play the guitar but they do do take a lot of patience and some can be very difficult to follow. This is one of the reasons that guitar videos are becoming increasingly popular.

With learn guitar video you can easily see what is happening. It is easier to spot if you have fingers that are in the wrong place than it is by following the description in a book. This makes using video less frustrating than reading a book and also make it easier to spot when you are making mistakes.

Another advantage of the learn guitar video is that they feel more dynamic than books. Books can be very boring and feel uninvolving but with videos you always feel like you're part of the lesson.

Most learn guitar videos come in the MPEG format which means that they are usually compatible with Windows media player. But if you do decide to use this method of learning to play the guitar you should always check the format in which the video is displayed to make sure that is compatible with your system.

In truth private lessons are probably better than video but when you take into account the expense and the time you have to put in with private lessons then for many video will be a far better option. The only real downside is that you don't get the feedback that you would from private tutor.

In my opinion learn guitar video is the best way for many. If you have a huge amount of patience then you may still find the book is the best method for you and if you have plenty of cash and time on your hands then a private tutor may be the best option but otherwise I believe video as the best way to go when trying to learn to play guitar.

Guitar Video Lessons - Should You Use A Learn To Play Guitar Video

There are plenty of ways to learn to play the guitar. One very popular method is the learn to play guitar video using guitar video lessons. In the past books have always been the most common way to learn guitar but in recent times video has certainly caught up and is now probably on an even keel in regards of popularity.

If you cannot afford a private tutor then there is no doubt in my mind that the best way to learn to play is by guitar video lessons. The main reason for this is a video is more involving than a book and can show you things in far better detail than a book could ever describe. The lessons also feel more dynamic and help to keep you more focused.

Most learn to play guitar video come in the MPEG format but you will also find many versions using avi and midi formats. All of these are compatible with Windows media player and that is why they are very popular choices of format. Before you use any videos to learn to play the guitar make sure that the format is compatible with the software you are using.

Not all videos will teach in a manner that you will feel comfortable with. For this reason I would suggest trying to find a clip or demo of the video you are thinking of using.

The first lesson should always be about the basics, without the basics you will find it much harder to move on to advanced levels. Also try to start playing advanced levels sooner than your at that skill level will ultimately lead to frustration and thus ruining any enjoyment you may have learning the guitar.

Using a private tutor can be a great way to learn to play but it is very expensive and also takes a fair amount of time, that is why video is such a good option for so many people. What it lacks in feedback and motivation it makes up for in price and the fact that you can fit it around your own personal time.

Overall using a learn to play guitar video is a great way to learn to play the guitar. Just be sure to find a course that you feel comfortable with and that will keep your interest going and you should have very few problems using guitar video lessons. Here is one course you may want to take a look at, I certainly enjoyed the teaching style that is used.

Express Guitar Review - Is It A Good Learn Guitar Course

The Express Guitar guide to learning to play guitar is another downloadable e-course. How does it compare to the other guides of its ilk that are available?

Express Guitar is certainly put together well enough with the main aim of this course differing slightly to others. The main feature of this course is that it tries to improve your ear for music and thus enabling you to learn your favorite songs by ear instead of using music sheets.

Don't worry though the guide does also cover the basics, with the main focus of this based on rhythm guitar and hand formations.

The main part of the guitar is in PDF format and is easy to follow. MP3's are also provided for audio help but it has to be pointed out that it is sadly lacking any video tutorials.

The guide does come with a money back guarantee and is also very reasonably priced. The course also offers an extra package of MP3's at an extra charge, although these aren't expensive I do feel they should have just been included in the main course.

All in all although there is nothing wrong with Express Guitar I couldn't really recommend it when I believe that there are better courses available. You can visit the Express Guitar website Here!

Guitar Tutor Pro Review - The Best Way To Learn Guitar

Guitar Tutor Pro is a learn guitar course that is downloadable. It isn't hard to come across these type of courses as there are hundreds of them around. Many though should be avoided as they are complete rubbish, but is this one of them or not? Find out with this Guitar Tutor Pro Review.

Lets first get the negative part out of the way, and if I'm honest it is quite a big negative in my opinion. Guitar Tutor Pro doesn't feature any videos at all, although to some this won't matter to many it will be a huge loss.

In terms of its approach to training it is very good. The guide is aimed at the beginners and also a little towards intermediate guitar players, although if you are looking for something advanced this isn't for you. I believe the written guides are of a better standard than the ones provided by Jamorama.

Sadly there is no forum for members to help each other along and therefore there is no real online support with the course. The only form of contact is via a form on there website.

In the end it boils down to what you are looking for in a guitar learning course. If you are happy to just use written instruction and diagrams then this is probably the best course around. However the lack of video aids is a massive, massive loss and for that reason the majority will probably feel disappointed with Guitar Tutor Pro and better suited to a all in one course like Jamorama.

Videos are better than books in general as you can see exactly what is required and the method feels more involving which will help you to keep your focus. The only real thing missing is the lack of individual attention and feedback that can be given by a personal tutor.

Private Sessions

This is the method with the higher rate of success and so in many ways it is the best way to learn guitar. The fact that you are been assigned a program for your own needs and you are given all the help you need with anything you are struggling with.
